South Africa's Scoot Dr stands at the forefront as a premium service centre for 2-stroke motors. With a dedicated workshop in Cape Town, we specialise in the maintenance and servicing of manual Vespa’s, LML, and Bajaj vehicles. We're not limited to these, as we also offer repair and servicing for all SYM 4-stroke scooters and the Yamaha BWS 100cc 2-stroke.
In 2013, Scoot Dr expanded its service portfolio by launching a new division dedicated to modern Vespa 4-stroke auto scooters. We further strengthened our expertise by employing three specialist Vespa 4-stroke technicians. A year later, in August 2014, we broadened our horizon by establishing a commercial fleet depot and workshop in Johannesburg.
Apart from our in-shop services, Scoot Dr provides mobile servicing for Sym delivery scooters, motorbikes, and Atul 3-wheeler tuk-tuks in Gauteng and the Western Cape. Our specialised mobile technicians, equipped with all necessary parts in our Toyota Quantum and Hilux vans, ensure prompt and efficient mobile servicing. To minimise commercial downtime, we also offer courtesy vehicles delivered on our custom trailers.
Scoot Dr prides itself on delivering a wide range of services tailored to your bikes' service interval requirements. This includes minor servicing like spark-plug and engine oil replacements, cable and electrical system checks, tyre, speedo, horn, and brake pad/shoe inspections, and major servicing involving belts, rollers, filters, and elements for transmission services. Our team's once-over inspection allows us to accurately determine if your bike needs a minor fix or a part replacement. We believe in transparency and will always call or email you with a quote and ask for permission before proceeding with additional work.
We advise our customers to have a general 2-stroke service every six months or after every 2,500 km to prevent costly surprises, seizes, and blockages. And remember, always ensure a 2% oil to petrol mix to keep your ride in optimal condition.
